CEO
Maissa Kabbani is a Syrian American political activist and the Founder and Vice President of Global Justice, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing long-term relief for Syrian refugees. Through her humanitarian work, she has supported displaced communities across Lebanon, Turkey, and northern Syria, and was honored with the 2017 Dubai Pioneers Award in recognition of her impact.
Maissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and was a recipient of the Northern New Jersey Consortium Award for Medical Laboratory Technology. She has served as a Laboratory Director and Vice President in multiple hospitals across the NJ/NY metropolitan area. Her leadership in laboratory operations and process improvement was recognized and published in the American Journal of Clinical Pathology, highlighting her contributions to laboratory efficiency and management.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in healthcare management. Maissa currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of a Philadelphia-based healthcare firm. In addition, she is the founder and owner of a healthcare consulting company that advises medical institutions on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strategic management.
Executive Director
Fadi Smadi is the Executive Director of SyriaUS Advisory Group (SAG), leading the firm’s strategic investment, institutional engagement, and transaction structuring activities across Syria and the region. With over three decades of experience in international trade systems, regulatory architecture, and cross-border economic coordination, he has operated at senior institutional levels in trade facilitation, risk governance, and policy-to-market alignment. His expertise spans complex transaction design, regulatory navigation, and multi-jurisdictional economic structuring within evolving and high-complexity environments. At SAG, he directs the development of disciplined investment frameworks, aligns responsible private capital with priority sectors, and builds professionally governed partnerships designed to activate sustainable, execution-focused economic growth.

Bilal Kabbani is a Financial Advisor with over 20 years of experience in strategic financial planning, operational optimization, risk management, and financial controls. He has successfully supported corporations in enhancing financial performance, improving operational efficiency, and building sustainable growth strategies. Known for his analytical approach and leadership mindset, Bilal works closely with organizations to strengthen financial structures, optimize resources, and implement effective governance practices that drive long-term success and operational excellence.

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering, he has built a career focused on delivering resilient, high-impact strategies that consistently drive long-term, sustainable business growth. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity in Berlin, Ali is further enhancing his expertise in navigating complexity and driving lasting organizational resilience.

Researcher
Mahmoud is a researcher in political economy with a Master's degree in Business Administration. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees at Citizens for Syria and works as the Economic Reform Coordinator at The Day After organization in Turkey.
He is also a co-founder and advisor at SyriaUS Advisory, and a member of the Board of Trustees at Masahat Foundation for Development. Previously, Mahmoud worked as a researcher at Karam Shaar Ltd. His work focuses on economic policy, governance, and post-conflict reconstruction in Syria.
